An exciting opportunity has arisen with the College Group for a Land based Service Engineering Trainer Assessor to join the team based at the Brooksby Campus. The successful candidate would have the ability to deliver across the full range of the department's provision. You may currently be working in an engineering setting looking for your first job in education. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. Working as part of the Land Based Service Engineering team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of our Land based Service Engineering Further Education and Apprenticeship provision. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of Land Based Service Engineering industry and be able to plan, deliver and review using a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. Part of the role will include travelling out to industry to conduct reviews with the apprenticeship students. We hope to add value to our team during this process taking on a person with a passion to share their engineering knowledge and experience with others, who has worked with new cutting-edge technologies throughout their careers, who would like to support our engineering provision to continually improve year on year by offering what our customers what they require exceeding their expectations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver across the full range of the department's provision as part of the Land Based Service Engineering team.
* Develop and deliver Land Based Service Engineering Further Education and Apprenticeship provision.
* Plan, deliver and review teaching and learning using a range of effective techniques.
* Travel to industry to conduct reviews with apprenticeship students.
Qualifications
As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
