The postholder will be responsible for managing the day to day activitieswithin the Ejection Seat Component MROWorkshop(s).
Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities areundertaken in accordance with all the requirements of theregulatory approval and the issued Statement of Work/Condition ofSupply in order to assure the output of airworthy aircraftcomponents.
At this level demonstrates a high level of understanding oftactical performance management and the requirement for continuousimprovement. Demonstrates high levels of leadership skills and isan experienced people manager managing multidisciplinary andmultiskilledteams.
Will be responsible for the operational output of the Ejection SeatComponent MRO Workshop under their control in line with agreedcustomer requirements. Post holder will also have responsibilitiesfor the cost and schedule adherence of the component maintenanceactivities.

Qualifications
* Indepth knowledge of the workings of Ejection Seat Maintenance andthe importance of regulation and compliance with procedures in asafety criticalenvironment
* 5years practical experience applying aviation safety standards andoperatingpractices.
* 2years relevant work experience as an Operator within the aircraftmaintenance componentenvironment.
* Excellentplanning and expediting knowledge and skills and can demonstrategood experience and planningsystems.
* Requiresgood IT literacy skills and knowledge of Digital maintenancedocuments and ERPsystems.
* Thisperson would be seen as a competent individual in componentmaintenance activities be able to support the processes proposeimprovements and manage those improvements into the daytodayrunning of the operation.
