Your new company A well-respected organisation that you will feel proud to contribute to. Your new role This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to support the Merchandising Planning function. In this role you will use Demand Forecasting and Inventory Optimisation skills to ensure retail channels (both traditional and e-commerce) have enough stock to maximise sales, while keeping Inventory under control. You will track sales rates and stock levels across approx 300 skus, collaborating with the buyers to ensure re-supply. What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience in a similar role; optimising Inventory levels in Retail or Supply Chain / Manufacturing sector. You will have strong Excel skills (including Vlookup and Pivot Tables), and be comfortable manipulating data to inform your decisions. You will be a strong communicator, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment. Experience forecasting for seasonal product ranges is an advantage but not essential.
