Day to day as a Pipe Fitter: Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques Attach pipes to structures and bend into position Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated Perform test on your work or work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints Welding, soldering, brazing, fusing of pipework Read and interpret technical drawings Benefits for you as the Pipe Fitter: Auto-enrolment pension.
