🚨🚨Most major aspects of pathology are undertaken with the exception of Neuropathology, Bone Tumour Pathology and Paediatric Pathology🚨🚨
In this pivotal role, you will utilise some of the country’s most advanced medical equipment to diagnose, treat, and prevent a range of diseases. Your expertise will be central to studying tissue and fluid samples, making critical diagnoses, and building effective treatment plans that directly impact patient outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert diagnostic services, determining and interpreting a range of tests to guide patient treatment plans.
* Communicate complex clinical information clearly and compassionately to patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
* Lead and work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, supervising junior medical staff and contributing to the smooth running of the Pathology department.
* Conduct ward rounds and outpatient clinics, delivering high-standard clinical care.
* Engage in ongoing research and professional development to remain at the forefront of pathological sciences.

Essential Requirements:
* Full GMC registration.
* Significant, relevant experience at Consultant level, or references demonstrating readiness to step up.
* Stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (Please note, this role is ineligible for visa sponsorship).
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
