Overview
A dynamic role focused on holistic person-centered support, working alongside parents and health and social care professionals dedicated to overcoming challenges and providing Frankie with every opportunity and experience. The team supports Frankie at school, facilitating his access to learning/education and enabling him to participate in all school activities. The SEN Support Worker will also support Frankie at home, and in the community. He has an extensive therapy programme supporting his rehabilitation (SLT, Physio, Dramatherapy, OT, etc.). All these programmes are implemented in a fun, imaginative, creative way by his team; full training is provided by his treating therapist. As mentioned, Frankie leads a busy life, with regular appointments, planned activities, play dates, and events. Your role will be to support him with all of this, along with his daily health, care, and medical needs. This position involves lots of play, interaction, team input, and collaboration. Full training provided.

Role details
* Location: Essex, CM11 (Nearest Tube/Station: Billericay)
* Days & Hours: 2 x 12-hour shifts per week. 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Rota provided 4 weeks in advance.
* Start date: ASAP
* Wage/Salary: Weekday: £16.48 / £197.76 per week; Weekend: £18.54 / £222.48 per week; Gross per hour/shift as applicable
* Driver essential? Preferably. Manual WAV for use on duty
* Essential: Early years childcare experience
* Desirable: Experience in mini button / PEG management and working within a family home
* Family/Client pets: Not applicable
