We are supporting Amcor, a global leader in responsible packaging solutions, in their search for a Head of Business to lead a growing and forward-thinking team at their Suffolk site. As Head of Business, you will have full responsibility for the performance, people, and processes within your area. You’ll lead a multi-functional team across production, engineering, and support functions, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are achieved while driving continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Core responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing departmental teams to deliver operational, financial, and strategic goals
* Overseeing resource planning, recruitment, and training to ensure capability across all areas
* Driving continuous improvement in production performance, product quality, and reliability
* Managing departmental KPIs including OEE, waste, delivery performance, and safety metrics
* Leading communication across all levels of the business through team briefings and town halls
* Collaborating with Planning, Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure alignment with customer needs
* Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and promoting a strong safety culture
* Managing budgets and cost control to support site profitability and long-term growth
* Supporting new initiatives in sustainability and innovation aligned with Amcor’s global strategy
* Leading by example and promoting Amcor’s values and behaviours in all aspects of leadership
About you:
* Proven experience in a senior production or business leadership role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong people management and leadership skills with a focus on engagement and performance
* Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
* Excellent commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and KPIs effectively
* Confident communicator able to inspire teams and influence across all levels
* Strategic thinker with the ability to lead operational change and deliver measurable results
* Competent in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
