This is a desk-based, virtual role within the BFS Health Visiting Virtual HUB, providing a single point of access for telephone and email contacts. Future planning may include virtual consultations. This role currently does not involve direct face-to-face contact with service users.
Overview
We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated SCPHN Health Visitors with initiative and drive who are passionate about providing an excellent service to support children and their families to achieve the best start in life. The HUB aims to re-imagine how BFS Health Visiting is delivered, working with a diverse and inclusive team and key stakeholders to deliver the Healthy Child Programme with high clinical standards.
Role Responsibilities
* Offer advice and support to parents, professionals and stakeholders via telephone and email.
* Assess the needs of families contacting the HUB via telephone, providing advice, support and signposting.
* Manage telephone and email correspondence from professionals and stakeholders, prioritising as needed in order of need and importance.
* Support the development of Assistant Practitioners in their HUB role.
Requirements
* Health Visitor with SCPHN qualification.
* Ability to provide an advisory service via telephone and email, with potential involvement in future virtual consultations.
