Graduate Engineer - Civils
Location: South West England, South Wales, London, South East England, North West England, North East England, Yorkshire, Midlands

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

You will play a vital role in delivering safe and efficient solutions for our road and rail projects. You will gain hands-on experience in both site and office environments, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure successful project execution. Your responsibilities will include assisting with cost control, record-keeping, method statement drafting, and project planning, all while contributing fresh ideas and energy to our innovative projects.. Occasional travel or periods of working away from home may be necessary.

You will collaborate with Site Managers, Technical Managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects that connect communities and enhance infrastructure. Your role will also involve engaging with local communities and promoting careers in the construction industry, fostering strong relationships built on respect and professionalism.



About you…. (what you are skilled at)

You are an adaptable and proactive individual with a relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Your strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively will help you thrive in our team-oriented environment. You may have experience in a construction or engineering-related setting, and you're eager to learn and develop your skills. A commitment to health, safety, and sustainability is at the core of your work ethic, aligning with Octavius' values of quality, integrity, and innovation.

* A strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* An organised, methodical approach to managing tasks and priorities.
* A problem-solving attitude, especially when faced with challenging situations.
* A full UK driving licence and a desire to work towards professional qualifications.
* Full UK Licence (Preferred)
