Are you an experienced clinical negligence litigator seeking a new challenge?
At Affinity Law, we're looking for a talented and driven Clinical Negligence Specialist Solicitor or Senior Litigation Executive to join our growing team in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value defendant clinical negligence cases while working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
About Us
Affinity Law is a niche, award-winning firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence. We are proud to represent individuals and families affected by clinical negligence and what sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to achieving justice through expert, compassionate legal representation for our clients. Every case we handle reflects our core values: personalised service and support, integrity, attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of the best possible outcome for our clients. We're a close-knit, passionate team who care deeply about the people we support — and about each other.
The Role
Joining our Clinical Negligence team, you'll take on a varied and challenging caseload of complex defendant matters, often high in value and requiring a strategic, detail-oriented approach. You'll work closely with colleagues, medical experts, and clients, navigating sensitive legal issues with empathy and professionalism.
This role offers you the autonomy to manage your own caseload while being part of a collaborative team that values open communication, shared expertise, and a common purpose. You'll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully from day one, making a real difference in the lives of those affected by medical negligence.
Who We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from applicants with proven experience in clinical negligence litigation, ideally with a strong understanding of defendant work. You should be confident in running your own files, skilled in reviewing complex medical evidence, and comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
You'll bring exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding client care. We value individuals who are dynamic, proactive, and motivated by the challenge of high-stakes litigation — those who thrive under pressure and are driven by a sense of purpose.
What We Offer
In return, we offer a competitive salary tailored to your experience, alongside a discretionary bonus scheme and a package of additional benefits including birthday leave and a holiday purchase scheme. More importantly, we provide a warm, inclusive workplace where career growth is encouraged, and knowledge is shared.
We understand that our people are our greatest asset — and we invest in your development and wellbeing accordingly.
