The Role: We are currently looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our innovative team at G&B Home Living. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support for our internal colleagues across our 2 UK sites (Blackburn and Padiham) and remotely for our divisions in Europe and North America, ensuring that all IT systems and equipment are running efficiently. As the first point of contact for IT queries, you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist in the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services. As our IT Support Engineer you will work closely with various departments to identify IT needs and deliver solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Our IT Support Engineer will also join our on call rota, after an initial training period, to provide out of hours support to the wider business between the hours of 6am and midnight. Requirements Essential Requirements to be successful as our IT Support Engineer: A minimum of two years' experience in a technical support role or similar capacity. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to addressing user needs. Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools. Experience and knowledge of Active Directory. Experience and knowledge of group policy. Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent) to service both sites in Lancashire. Desirable Requirements to be successful as our IT Support Engineer: Experience with networking technologies and support. Experience in working in a Hybrid environment. Experience with Intune.
