Job Description
A strong Mechanical Project Manager is required to manage mechanical packages on active upcoming projects.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience in the mechanical services industry and technical ability to manage various aspects and procedures through the mechanical services package delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
Produce technical submissions, construction co-ordinated drawings, and update them to reflect design or scope changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage and generate project cost variations, track changes, and support commercial reporting.
Develop, issue, and maintain mechanical services work programmes, aligning with overall construction schedules.
Produce and update Progress Reports for issue and discussion with client team and Directors.
Ensure full compliance with project specifications, relevant regulations, and internal quality standards.
Ideal Candidate Requirements: • NVQ Level 5 minimum (or equivalent) in construction management or HNC in building services.
CSCS card
SMSTS
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical building services.
Experience managing site-based installations on live construction projects.
Good understanding and technical knowledge of mechanical commercial systems.
Typical projects:
Met Police Stations, various from small works to large de-carbonisation projects. Heritage, recent works and tenders undertaken at various palaces, some Stadiums and involvement with plant lifecycle replacement and mechanical system upgrades
