We have a vacancy for part-time hours as a Triage Practitioner in our Weymouth Urgent Treatment Centre. This is a 12-month fixed-term or secondment opportunity at Band 6 for 23 hours per week.
Requirements:
* Experience in minor injuries, minor illness, and booked urgent care appointments.
* A motivated, highly competent, and caring individual with the ability to practice with some autonomy.
* Experience in an urgent or emergency care setting preferred.
* Ability to demonstrate advanced practice skills, support and role model to colleagues, and assist in team and service development.
* Applicants requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.
* For NHS current employees, the role is on secondment basis; prior approval is required.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the vibrant Weymouth Urgent Treatment Centre, part of the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service (DIUCS), delivering coordinated urgent care for Dorset patients. The team includes nurses, paramedics, healthcare assistants, and doctors committed to timely, efficient care.
