Technical Supervisor – Derry
Working Hours: 8-4.30pm Monday – Friday
Salary: £32-40k (DOE)
Opportunity to join the technical team of a leading food manufacturing business.
The Role
* Support the Technical Manager in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance standards.
* Ensure products meet customer, legal, and company specifications.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and auditors to maintain audit readiness.
* Monitor quality KPIs, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Oversee HACCP and promote good manufacturing practices across the site.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation and reports.
* Collaborate with production teams to drive quality and efficiency improvements.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and high technical standards.
About You
* 2–3 years’ experience working in a technical function within a high-volume food production environment.
* Degree / HND in a food-related subject.
* Strong working knowledge of HACCP principles, customer and regulatory standards, DAFM requirements, and local legislation.
* Strong commercial awareness with excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills
