Location: Wolverhampton, UK
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only
Working Hours: 24 hours per week (3 days)
Salary: £15.53 - £18.62 per hour (Equivalent to £32,302.40 - £38,729.60 pro rata)

We're currently seeking a passionate and qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a newly established special educational setting that supports children and young people aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You'll play a vital role in enhancing communication-friendly practices across the school and delivering specialist input to help each pupil reach their full potential. This is more than just a job-it's a chance to help shape the future of a growing service and make a lasting impact.
Your Role
As part of the clinical team, you'll:
Deliver assessments and therapy to a small caseload of students with speech, language, and communication needs.
Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement personalised support plans.
Contribute to whole-school development by providing training, consultation, and reflective practice opportunities.
Be supported by an experienced Clinical Lead and work closely with the school SENCo.What We're Looking For
HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
Recognised degree (or equivalent qualification) in Speech and Language Therapy
Experience or interest in working with children and young people with SEND, particularly those with ASC/SEMH
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
