Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support
Location: Pontypridd, Wales
Start Date: September 1st, 2025
Contract: Full-time (term-time only)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

The Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join the Behaviour Support team of the all-through school. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help manage and improve student behaviour, ensuring all pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with behavioural needs across various age groups
* Assisting in implementing behaviour management strategies
* Working alongside teaching staff to create a positive learning atmosphere
* Monitoring and encouraging positive pupil engagement
* Providing individual or small group support as needed

* Experience working with children is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and resilience
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
