As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: Start with a base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000. Plus, opt for guaranteed overtime to boost your earnings to £44,385!
Flexible Working Hours: Enjoy a 40-hour work week with core hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Tools for Success: We equip you with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit from day one.

What We’re Looking For
You’re not just a mechanic; you’re a people person. Our mechanics engage with customers, providing advice and representing the RAC with pride. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit showcases what we’re all about.
Key Qualifications:
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
