Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a friendly farewell when they leave.
* Take guests' orders efficiently and accurately, inputting them into the system for seamless service.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu, including food and drink options, to assist guests with informed choices.
* Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met consistently, adhering to health and safety regulations in both preparation and service.
* Serve food and beverages to guests promptly while checking on their satisfaction throughout their visit.
* Maintain cleanliness and order in the café, including regular cleaning of floors, tables, and back areas.
* Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand company standards, customer service expectations, and job responsibilities.
* Build rapport with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
* Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience from start to finish.
* Inspire and motivate the team, providing guidance and mentorship to help them exceed performance goals while maintaining a positive, upbeat environment.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* You must have at least 1 year of experience within the hospitality industry.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, along with eligibility to work in the UK.
* A professional appearance and good personal hygiene are required.
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene standards is necessary.
* A genuine passion for customer satisfaction and providing excellent service.
* Flexibility is required in terms of working hours to meet the needs of the business.
* Previous supervisory experience.
