Senior Static Physiotherapist in General Medicine and Rehabilitation based at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join our medical physiotherapy team. The post holder will be based at Nevill Hall Hospital within the inpatient physiotherapy team. The successful applicant will be a clinician with broad experience in the inpatient setting, particularly within medicine.
Although based in Nevill Hall Hospital, there may be an expectation to cross-cover between various sites depending on service needs.
Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for a forward-thinking clinician with the skills to combine specialist clinical practice with innovation. You will be committed to following best practices and clinical guidelines, promoting high-quality physiotherapy services. The successful candidate should be flexible, motivated, and patient-centered, valuing the patient’s strengths, voice, choice, and control in interventions. Demonstrable leadership, excellent communication, and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to build networks across sites and disciplines.
You will work alongside your team lead and the Clinical Lead physiotherapist to develop your skills, knowledge, and experience across the four pillars of practice.
The successful applicant will be actively involved in the education, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff and physiotherapy students.
Fluency in Welsh is desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

Qualifications
