Join to apply for the Support Worker - Ffordd Newydd (SA10) role at Accomplish Group. This is a Waking Night Support Worker position at a residential transitional Mental Health service supporting six individuals in their own studio apartments. The role focuses on person-centered support to enable independence and improve health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Prompt service users toward independence while helping them live a fulfilling life
* Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
* Maintain and assist with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments and administering medication
* Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping
* Assist with personal care (dependent on service user)
* Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking
Requirements / Qualifications
* Dependent on experience and qualification
* Over 18 due to the vulnerable nature of the people supported
* Driver preferred; driving may be required for certain shifts or service user appointments
