A vacancy has arisen for a Flt Lt or WO (Any) to serve as SO3 Reserves Recruiting at Headquarters RAF Recruiting & Selection (R&S) on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 02 March 2026. RAF R&S’ Mission is to recruit the high-quality people needed to sustain RAF Operational capability today, and into the future. The post is located within HQ R&S to support the processing of Part-Time Volunteer Reservists (PTVRs) and Sponsored Reserves. Specifically, upon successful completion of the RAF Recruiting Course at RAF Cranwell (unless already completed), the incumbent will work within the Recruiting and Selection HQ and will be responsible through SO2 Reserves and Rejoiners. The role is responsible for, but are not limited to: The recruiting task as defined in The Royal Air Force Manual of Recruiting & Selection (AP3391). Maintaining a level of performance sufficient to meet the Business Objectives of RAF Recruiting and Selection (R&S), as defined within the Into Training Targets (ITTs) and specific objectives contained within the RAF Recruiting and Selection Mission Directive. This task is to be completed, whilst ensuring that all procedures and processes used to maintain the throughput of potential Commissioned Officer and Enlisted Aviator (EA) recruits are consistently applied. Initiating, cultivating, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, Reserve Support Wings (RSWs), Sqn management staff and R&S staff to maximise recruiting opportunities, Wg and Sqn priorities and identify barriers to recruitment, risks and issues. Ensuring that all PTVR recruitment enquiries and applications are processed and directed to the appropriate RSW and Sqn recruiting staff with timescales laid down in AP3391. Monitoring, evaluating and updating all Reserve PSTS and RAFOTA presentations, providing briefs as required. Acting as HQ R&S SME for Cyber, Digital, Space and Sponsored Reserve Recruiting activity. Supervising the implementation of Corporate Governance to support recruitment. Engaging and contract monitoring activities associated with Teleperformance and Capita on all aspects involving Reserve Recruitment. Liaising with policy staffs at HQ Air Command Reserves. Management of the visits programme to RSWs/RAuxAF Sqns and associated stakeholders. Providing briefs, statistics, and reports on PTVR recruiting as required and iaw published schedule and coordinated responses and inputs to PARMIS when requested. Coordinating, analysing and reporting of PTVR sqn recruiting forecasting and performance against ITT. Prioritising and managing external support requests from RSWs and Sqns to ensure adequate, appropriate and timely provision of support. Coordinate priorities for recruitment training for RSW/Sqn recruiting staff. Completing Line managers responsibilities as appropriate. Deputising for SO2 Reserves Recruiting & Rejoiners as required.
