Research Recruitment Lead
Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences, School of Medicine, College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, Cardiff University – based at the Hadyn Ellis Building.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to coordinate and conduct recruitment and assessment of people with psychosis for the MHG Omics programme, a UK-wide initiative funding a large multi-omic cohort of people with psychosis and mood disorders.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and conduct recruitment and assessment of people with psychosis.
* Contribute to recruitment strategies for participants from non-NHS sources (e.g. other research studies).
* Handle day-to-day activities associated with a large multi-disciplinary study.
* Line manage two Psychology Assistants working on study recruitment.
Qualifications
* Skills and experience in psychiatric or psychological assessment.
* Demonstrated project management and research coordination skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in coordination of large-scale research projects is desirable.

Employment Details
Full-time (35 hours per week) – available from 1 September 2026 until 31 August 2029 (fixed term).
Blended working available – spend time on campus and remote as business needs permit.

Salary
£41,064 – £46,049 per annum (Grade 6). Appointments usually made at the bottom of the scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
