We are now looking to recruit a Fraud Prevention Manager to support our growth plans.

As a Fraud Prevention Manager, you will serve as a key contact for the business, leading the development and implementation of fraud detection strategies and business procedures that balance fraud risk, customer experience, and regulatory compliance, including FCA requirements.
Role responsibilities:
1. Ensure daily fraud investigation and detection in accordance with Fraud and Financial Crime frameworks.
2. Oversee Fraud Monitoring processes to review accounts and transactions for suspicious activity.
3. Identify fraud trends and develop reports and KPIs related to potential fraud.
4. Conduct root cause analysis to identify system gaps and prevent risks.
5. Lead fraud prevention initiatives, implement business changes, and recommend process improvements.
6. Manage Fraud Forum and provide fraud & financial crime training.
7. Require experience in a similar role within consumer credit.
8. Possess knowledge of fraud principles, procedures, and best practices.
9. Have a good understanding of FCA Handbook and related sourcebooks.
10. Be proficient with fraud applications and supporting technologies.
11. Have strong knowledge of AML/CFT, Data Privacy, and Bribery regulations.
12. Demonstrate strong analytical and reporting skills.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in Newport.
