About the role
The Senior People Shared Services Advisor supports the effective daily running of the People Shared Services team. You will:
Case Management & Advisory Support
* Manage complex employee relations cases (e.g., long-term sickness, performance, conduct) in line with policy and legislation.
* Build strong working relationships across the business, promoting trust and reliability.
* Support organisational design changes, advising and coaching managers through consultation processes.
* Produce clear, accurate documentation and formal correspondence.
* Ensure all cases are logged, tracked, and resolved within agreed SLAs.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law to provide informed advice and minimise business risk.
Operational People Shared Service Support
* Act as a point of escalation for complex cases, supporting Advisors to progress work effectively.
* Resolve operational issues independently, balancing risk, policy, and business needs.
* Provide daily operational oversight, escalating issues when necessary.
Service Excellence & Continuous Improvement
* Encourage knowledge sharing and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
* Support capability development in Advisors through guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback.
About You
You are a seasoned People professional with strong advisory experience, ideally within a shared services or high-volume environment. You have:
* A strong working knowledge of employment law and People best practice.
* Experience managing complex employee relations cases and acting as a point of escalation.
* Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
* Confidence in communication, able to quickly build credibility and influence senior stakeholders across the business.
* A collaborative approach, providing guidance, informal coaching, and constructive feedback to colleagues.
