Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of an established, values-led care provider seeking an experienced and compassionate care manager to lead frontline teams and drive excellence in community-based services.

Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strong, inclusive leadership to frontline care teams, promoting a positive and supportive culture
* Leading by example with a caring, respectful and person-centred approach
* Overseeing day-to-day operational management to ensure care quality, service delivery and capacity targets are achieved
* Supporting recruitment, induction and retention of care staff in line with organisational processes
* Ensuring new starters are effectively onboarded and supported through probation
* Managing supervision, appraisals and ongoing staff development
* Chairing regular team meetings to communicate performance, updates and best practice
* Ensuring safe, effective and compliant care delivery in line with CQC standards
* Championing safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement
* Liaising with families, external professionals and key stakeholders
* Managing concerns, compliments and complaints in line with policy
* Monitoring budgets, staffing costs and operational expenditure responsibly
* Completing internal audits and preparing for CQC inspections
* Managing HR-related matters including investigations, grievances and disciplinaries
* Reviewing KPIs, analysing trends and contributing to service improvement plans
* Participating in the on-call rota, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
About you:
* A compassionate, people-focused leader with a genuine passion for care

* Person-centred in your approach to leadership and service delivery
* Experienced in managing care teams within a CQC-regulated environment
* Confident handling HR processes and employee relations matters
* Proactive, organised and solutions-focused
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to work towards it)
* Experience managing budgets and resources
* Strong written and spoken English
* Confident using systems such as Excel, Word and Outlook
* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
