Wiring Harness TechnicianThe Benefits - Full time and permanent position- Salary depending on experience - Pension schemeDesirable knowledge and experience* HNC/HND in an automotive subject an advantage (time served technicians considered)* Previous experience in a prototype wiring harness assembly environment* Experience with wiring harness design software, an advantage The job includes• Build wiring harnesses (terminal crimping, wire stripping, looms…etc.) according to technical drawings and specification• Solder electrical components for assembly process (through hole and SMT).• Perform hand assembly steps and box builds.• Follow detailed assembly instructions.• Perform quality checks (automated and manual).• Share ideas for improvements to process to increase efficiency• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.• Any other tasks needed to get the job done.• Being prepared to adopt a flexible approach to working hours to ensure development activities are carried out as and when required.Please apply including an introduction letter and your CV.
