Pay Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Its our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability times, and you will have 3 weekst notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for colleagues; if your available times match closely but are not exact, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Being a colleague in one of our stores means helping to serve shoppers better every day.

* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Put into practice the training you have received, so we all work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.

* Be knowledgeable about store performance and understand the part you play in driving service, sales, reducing waste and delivering profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
* Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
