Business Analyst – Digital Services

Contract: Fixed term, 12 months.
Internal candidates: Secondment opportunity available after discussion with line manager.
This role supports the Trust's Transforming Care Digitally Programme Team, working closely with Clinical, Operational, Clinical Systems and Digital teams to optimise digital systems and services.
Main Duties
* Produce documentation, including process maps, for current and future digital solutions.
* Lead, participate in and facilitate mapping and documentation of clinical and corporate business processes and systems, understanding complex processes across settings.
* Support projects or work packages as advised by the Programme Team.
* Use project tools, key metric data and documentation to identify and track benefits, providing regular updates and analysis to the Programme.
* Analyse, interpret and communicate complex issues related to “As‑is” and “To‑be” processes in clinical system or service development.
* Provide support in reviewing and testing software as part of new service or system implementation, including decommissioning of legacy systems.
* Ensure all processes and procedures are fully documented and supported with user guides where required.
* Produce standardised scoping documentation, engaging senior clinical and non‑clinical staff individually and in groups.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree level education or equivalent experience.
* Prince 2 certification.
* Recognised Business Analyst Certification.
Experience
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft tools or applications.
* Previous experience working in an NHS environment.
* Experience working across professional boundaries.
* Good understanding of clinical pathways and reporting requirements.
* Experience working in structured programme/project environments.
