Job Overview

The Bok Shop has been serving the best possible fried chicken since 2016. Using award winning home made sauces, and state of the art equipment we only serve the best, and we are looking for team members who can help us achieve this.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation and service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Responsibilities

* Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
* Manage food production processes while adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.
* Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
* Develop and implement training programmes for staff in areas such as cooking techniques, food safety, and customer service.
* Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events or menu items effectively.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Previous supervisory experience is essential, along with team management capabilities.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is required.
* Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective team collaboration and customer interaction.
