This position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs for individuals with a variety of conditions, including physical, mental, and developmental disorders. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care. You will also engage in service evaluation, audit, and research to enhance the quality of care provided. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Occupational Therapy. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience in rehabilitation in a hospital setting. Ability to carry out a range of assessments and procedures to make a clinical diagnosis, treatment, and management plan. Strong assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
