Community Assessment Team, Social Worker

The role reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with the CAT Program Manager & COMPACT Mental Health Team. The position involves working within agency and regional program goals, objectives, and mission, as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide trauma-informed mental health services to youth referred to the Community Assessment Team and/or Juvenile Diversion youth and families.
* Develop and implement treatment plans with individual youth goals and objectives.
* Offer a range of trauma-informed services, including individual, family, and group counseling, wraparound services, and others aligned with program goals.
* Participate in training and apply evidence-based therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
* Conduct home, school, and field visits, and coordinate with Probation and other organizations to serve clients effectively.
* Attend Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings.
* Maintain case records and client files in the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database.
* Coordinate contacts with other organizations and generate monthly service reports.
* Engage in outreach to reach the target population.
* Participate in special projects, agency events, and crisis interventions.
* Assist in implementing program components and work with diverse populations, exercising independent judgment.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Mental Health Supervisor.
Qualifications:
* Masters in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy, or in progress.
* Current registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMF) with a Board of Behavior Science (BBS), or in progress.
* Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
* At least 2 years of experience counseling youth with justice-system involvement or trauma, preferably in community-based settings.
* Experience in individual, group, family counseling, outreach, education, advocacy, and case management is preferred.
* Ability to work with diverse cultural populations.

* Reports to: Mental Health Supervisor and Executive Director
* Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, 10 paid holidays, clinical supervision, and a $350 monthly medical flexible spending account.
