As a Process Technician, you will be integral to site production. You’ll be operating state-of-the-art machinery daily. You’ll have the opportunity to impact operations, generate ideas, and implement improvements. You’ll be a problem solver, a technical expert, and a go-to person for all things liquid processing. Additionally, you’ll be a valued team member working within a quality-driven, passionate team.
Your main goal is to ensure improved equipment utilization, implement ONECI with tangible savings, and train Process Technicians to Plant Master, ensuring correct behaviors and equipment efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
* Contributing to a healthy, inclusive, and safe work environment, and role modeling our character mindset.
* Supporting Continuous Improvement using Lean Tools.
* Following departmental KPIs, minimizing, managing, and reporting losses.
* Operating machines and processing equipment via operating interfaces.
* Identifying and addressing root causes of problems.
* Managing department processes and resolving process failures.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implementing solutions.
* Participating in the development and optimization of washing processes.
* Ensuring awareness of and compliance with quality and food safety standards within your area.
* Applying procedures related to food safety (HACCP).
* Determining pass/fail criteria and handling nonconforming products.
* Managing product recipes, article numbers, and additives, understanding their functions.
* Organizing projects and implementing changes independently, reporting back to the Team Leader or SLT.
* Exercising good time management and prioritization skills.
Background/experience:

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
* A natural ability to solve problems.
* A strong sense of integrity and a passion for high-quality work with safety as a priority.
* The ability to work and make decisions independently.
* Proficiency in Plant Master.
* Previous technician experience or similar roles are preferred.
*Please note this is a days-based secondment that may include both day and night shifts as needed. The role is a 6-month secondment, with specific savings goals to justify the position, which will be discussed during the interview process.
