Due to continued expansion, a global leading manufacturer supplying advanced engineered solutions to the Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and High Technology sectors has a new vacancy for an Account Manager. An experienced commercial professional with excellent account management skills, you will develop and build long term relationships with new and existing customers to ensure their needs are met and to identify new commercial opportunities. The Role Take a lead position within the team to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded. Use your experience to identify potential issues before they occur and take steps to ensure minimum disruption for customers. Build trusted long lasting relationships with new and existing customers. Develop a thorough understanding of the company products and services. Travel to companies’ sites in the UK, visit key customers and trade events. Work with key company stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and new product solutions. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Meet regularly with key stakeholders to discuss progress and identify opportunities to improve. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies. The Person Previous experience gained in a product-based environment with some industrial sectors knowledge is advantageous (aerospace, defence, automotive, high technology, energy, etc). Commercially aware with excellent relationship building skills. Able to travel when necessary. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service ethos. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
