The propitiation of audit and accounts work is flexible and can be built around the candidate's experience and an Audit Manager for this vacancy in Sittingbourne, you will be allocated your own client portfolio containing a mixed portfolio of corporate and not for profit audit clients. Main Duties and Responsibilities for this role:
1. Planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments
2. Lead some large and complex assignments
3. Review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations
4. Supervise junior staff during the audit and review their work
5. Deliver the audit file to the partner in timely manner
6. Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points
7. Manage client communication in effective manner
8. Monitor your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro-actively
9. Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development
10. Develop specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments
11. Mentor audit & accounts trainees, contribute to the training and development programme
