The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through a blend of new business development, re-engaging lapsed clients, and developing existing accounts.
Your day-to-day will involve managing the full recruitment cycle, from initial client acquisition to candidate placement, while actively seeking new business opportunities to expand our portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development: Proactively identify, approach, and win new clients within the B2B sectors, building and nurturing long-term relationships
2. Account Management: Re-engage with lapsed clients to re-establish relationships and open doors for new opportunities. Develop existing accounts to increase revenue streams and solidify client loyalty
3. Client Advisory: Provide expert advice on recruitment strategies, market trends, and salary benchmarking to clients, positioning yourself as a trusted partner
4. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with internal teams to deliver on projects, share insights, resources, and leads to drive collective success and contribute to team targets
Required Experience & Skills:
We are looking for a self-motivated, commercially driven individual who thrives in a business development-focused environment. To succeed in this role, you should have:
5. B2B sales experience with a proven record in business development
6. A degree (in any discipline) and strong academic record
7. Excellent communication and networking skills
8. A proactive mindset with ambition, resilience and a desire to exceed targets
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
10. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a drive to learn
11. London or Manchester based (or willing to relocate)
