Job in private family ASAP Location: Bayswater, West London / Nr Marlborough Wiltshire Position: Rota Nanny (24/14) Salary: Please advise salary expectations This young, busy family is looking for a qualified, energetic, joyful and proactive Rota Nanny to care for their new baby boy (born November 2025). This role is a mix of shared care and sole charge, with the parents very much involved in their son’s life. The Rota Nanny will be expected to have a good understanding and experience of working with babies including sleep, routines, weaning, child development and general baby care. The family currently have a maternity nurse and the baby is in a good routine, which will need to be adapted and developed as necessary. All nursery duties are required. The parents are keen to learn from the nanny and looking for someone who is knowledgeable and supportive. The nanny should also be proactive and able to use their initiative when looking at planning their day. They need to have awareness of knowing when to step back and facilitate family time - it is a fairly relaxed, informal household and the family want to find the right person to slot into this without feeling that they need to micromanage them. The working hours will be 2 weeks (14 days) on / 2 weeks (14 days) off, working 24 hours when on duty. Accommodation will be sourced for the nanny and will be at minimum a bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The family spend their time between London and Wiltshire – this varies from week to week, and so the nanny needs to be flexible with this. There is frequent travel (worldwide and Europe) with this position so a Rota Nanny who enjoys travelling and has experience of travelling with families would be advantageous. The family employ housekeepers in each of their properties. A driver is preferred (this is especially important when in Wiltshire). A car will be provided for when working. The family have 2 Labradors, plus sheep, goats, ducks and chickens in Wiltshire.
