The Head Teacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and creative ESA, who is a superb team player and who is passionate about enabling pupils across School with SEND needs to access the school curriculum. We believe that this is a fabulous opportunity to join our School.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

1. A relentless enthusiasm to support children, including those with additional needs, to achieve their very best
2. Excellent organisational skills
3. Excellent time management skills
4. A professional approach to their role
5. Adaptable and flexiable
6. Resilient and empathetic
7. Nuturing and caring with a calm disposition
8. An ability to use initiative and demonstrate a wider range of SEND strategies across our primary setting
9. Reflective practice as an individual and as part of a team
10. NVQ 2 in English and Maths required
11. A desire to develop your own skills, including ICT, to further improve your practice
12. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a good sense of humour.
13. Be committed to being involved in the life of Flanshaw Junior, Infant and Nursery School, celebrating the achievements of both the children and the staff
