Overview
Apt is seeking an Associate Architect to join its growing team in Clerkenwell, London.
Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Associate who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-orientated, who can effectively manage projects and teams. The successful candidate will have expert ability in structuring thoughts, exploring, explaining, and refining ideas whilst leading and motivating a team, providing clear guidance and direction.
Requirements
* Proven experience of leading complex projects with a construction value between £50m and £200m
* A background that demonstrates excellent design and technical skills
* Experience of heading a project team and running projects across the full range of work stages
* Steering the design process in accordance with design direction and delivering to the highest standards
* Confidence in presenting to clients and consultants, as well as to senior colleagues as part of internal reviews
* Be capable of developing project programmes and design deliverables
* Have an excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction materials and detailing
* Have experience in reviewing and understanding detailed specifications
* Be proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
* Excellent verbal and sketch communication skills
* Ambitions to continue to develop your career in the industry and contribute to the success and growth of the studio

Employment details
The position is a full-time role (40 hours per week), and applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. The salary is between £55,000 and £70,000 and remuneration is dependent upon experience.
