Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Manchester – Up to £70,000
A leading Legal 500 recognised healthcare law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its highly regarded national team.
This award-winning practice acts for NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations and healthcare insurers, advising on complex and high-value defendant clinical negligence and healthcare litigation matters.
You’ll work within a collaborative and nationally respected team, handling challenging cases while benefiting from flexible working, strong partner support and clear progression opportunities.
With a consistent pipeline of high-quality instructions, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist expertise within one of the UK’s most established healthcare litigation teams.
The Role
* Manage a caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims
* Act on behalf of NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations and healthcare insurers
* Advise healthcare professionals and providers on complex and high-value litigation
* Draft pleadings, witness statements and case reports in line with client reporting requirements
* Support senior lawyers on strategic and technically complex matters
* Assist with client training, relationship management and business development initiatives
About You
* A qualified solicitor with at least 1 year PQE
* Experienced in defendant clinical negligence work
* Technically strong with experience in healthcare or medical malpractice litigation
* A confident communicator with strong analytical and drafting skills
* Client-focused and comfortable managing complex caseloads
* A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
