Location: Hybrid Role We are looking for an experienced and competent Site Inspector to expand our technical resource and to support our project delivery teams. Ideal Experience: • Affordable Housing • Fire Safety (internal and external) • Local Authority / Registered Provider • Various types of construction Essential Skills, Knowledge and Understanding: • Site inspections • Understanding build programmes • Understanding building regulations and NHBC compliance • Carrying out technical design reviews • Competent with fire stopping detailing • Health and safety awareness including CSCS registration General: • To visit the site no less than the amount agreed between the Client and/or the Employer’s Agent and in any event at critical points in the construction phase. • To check that all elements of construction are in accordance with the relevant regulations, Codes of Practice, British Standards and the Contract Documents; with specific attention given to fire safety. • To check that all works, materials, and products are in accordance with the Contract Specification and drawings. • To monitor the Contractor’s Programme and report any delays or failures to the Client.
