Your Role
You'll provide care, reassurance, and guidance throughout the night, ensuring each child's routines and emotional needs are met. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting nighttime routines and responding to children's needs
* Encouraging independence and confidence through calm, consistent care
* Following personalised care plans in collaboration with the child and their support network
* Creating a peaceful, nurturing overnight environment
* Assisting with early morning routines to prepare children for the day ahead
* Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems for documentation
What You'll Bring
* Experience working with children or in residential/childcare settings is highly desirable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Confidence following and contributing to individualised care plans
* Comfort using IT systems for clear documentation
* A valid driving licence is preferred
* Compassion, patience, and emotional resilience—especially overnight
