We are recruiting for part‑time maternity cover as a temporary Payroll Assistant. If you are eager to improve processes and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, we want you to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Be fully conversant with all aspects of payroll legislation including SMP, SPP, ShPP, SSP, PAYE, pensions and NI, ensuring HR policies are applied correctly.
* Record and process payroll accurately in ADP, ensuring paperwork is available and properly authorised.
* Process payroll deductions and notify relevant parties (pensions, employee donations, Bupa, Healthshield, union subscriptions, etc.).
* Provide cover for the Payroll & Pensions Manager when absent.
