You will work as part of the wider Cancer Services Team to support the delivery of safe, compassionate and joined-up care. You will work with the clinical teams providing cancer care as well as having direct patient contact. Your role will make a valuable contribution to improving the experience of people living with cancer. You will work autonomously under the supervision of the Macmillan Information Services Faciliator to oversee the day to day running of the centre.
Working collaboratively with a wide range of services, you will ensure that people affected by cancer can access support in their local community, for example Citizens Advice, Social Prescribing Link Workers, Health Coaches and hospices.
