An established building services contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial.
This role involves managing mechanical, electrical, and public health systems from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. You'll be responsible for technical compliance, programme control, stakeholder coordination, and budget management.
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: Up to £60,000 plus package
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless M&E integration
* Manage programmes, procurement schedules, and resource plans
* Oversee technical reviews, design coordination, and commissioning
* Control budgets, variations, and financial reporting
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM, and environmental standards
* Chair meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and teams
* Use CRM/project software (e.g., SimPro) to manage workflow and reporting
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
* Minimum 5 years' experience managing multi-disciplinary M&E projects
* Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, power, lighting, BMS, and ELV systems
* Familiarity with construction regulations and industry standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Project Management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, APM) desirable
* Experience with BIM, CAD, and digital engineering tools beneficial
