Job Title: Mechanical Contracts Manager Location: Preston, Lancashire Salary: £60K Vehicle Package The Role: * Manage delivery of mechanical building services projects from £50k up to £4M in value. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. * Oversee procurement and management of materials, labour, and subcontractors. * Monitor site progress, attend client progress meetings, and report on project performance. * Provide technical advice and guidance to operatives and clients. * Maintain strong client relationships while promoting new business opportunities. * Support financial management of projects including variations, applications, and final account settlements. * Ensure compliance with company health & safety procedures and statutory requirements. The Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or similar role. * Relevant building services qualifications (NVQ or equivalent; HNC not essential). * Strong commercial and financial acumen. * IT proficient (Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook). * CSCS card holder. * Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. * Proactive approach with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
