The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth within the Travel, Transport and Hospitality (TTH) sector. We are looking for a commercially driven professional to identify opportunities, develop targeted sales strategies, and build long‑term relationships with key stakeholders. You will work closely with internal teams to shape customer‑focused solutions and deliver agreed revenue and Total Contract Value (TCV) targets, while representing TCS as a trusted transformation partner.


Key responsibilities:

* Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the TTH sector.
* Develop and execute account‑level sales and engagement strategies aligned to target clients.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
* Drive proactive engagement plans to grow pipeline and convert opportunities into wins.
* Collaborate with internal delivery and solution teams to shape customer‑focused proposals.
* Own and deliver against agreed sales targets, revenue, and TCV objectives.
* Represent TCS capabilities across Digital Services, IT Services, and BPO solutions.


Your Profile

* Demonstrable experience in business development or sales roles within technology or professional services.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers at a strategic level.
* Ability to develop tailored sales strategies and drive targeted client engagements.
* Experience shaping deals in collaboration with internal teams to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

* Experience working within or selling into Travel, Transport, Hospitality, or adjacent sectors.
* Knowledge of Digital, IT, and BPO service offerings.
* Experience operating within public sector or regulated environments.
* Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
