Trainee BIM/CAD Technician
An ambitious Trainee BIM CAD Technician is needed to join a growing company; an established organisation which specialises in the production of fully engineered and co‑ordinated building services models which satisfy the latest BIM requirements.
Must be keen to learn as this is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee CAD technician to join an established organisation as part of a growing team with a combined experience of over 60 years in building services projects.
* Based in Leatherhead
* £24,400 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
* Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours
* 20 days holiday increasing annually to a maximum of 25
* Company contribution pension 4%
Job specification
* Working under a senior co‑ordinator engineer.
* Work in 2D surface modelling.
* Preparing end sheets for installation drawings.
* Modifying schematics and electrical layout drawings.
* This role will progress to producing drawings in 3D solid modelling.
Person specification
* IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD.
* A sound knowledge of engineering principals.
* An understanding of construction methods.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Able to work to deadlines.
