We’re looking for a Process Automation & Control Engineer to join our newly established European Engineering Hub, playing a pivotal role in delivering automation projects across the UK and Europe. If you’re passionate about cutting-edge control systems and leading impactful projects across industries like chemical, pharma, oil & gas, or FMCG, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of automation in a growing, international team. What You’ll Do Lead full lifecycle automation and Distributed Control System (DCS) projects across EMEA – from design to commissioning. Act as the technical authority on major projects, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met. Collaborate with site teams, vendors, and leadership to drive project success. Support plant operations with system improvements, alarm reviews, and issue resolution. Travel occasionally for commissioning and site visits; hybrid working (2–3 days/week on site) with flexibility during key project phases. What You’ll Bring Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering (or equivalent). Strong background in automation and control systems, especially DCS. Proven project leadership experience with excellent communication and stakeholder skills. Solid knowledge of control philosophy, instrumentation, and process manufacturing environments. Bonus if you have experience with: Emerson DeltaV DCS S88 / IEC 61512, SIS / IEC 61511 Cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, OG86, NIS) Why Join Us?
