Digital Engineering Manager - Energy | Expression of Interest
The Opportunity: Due to ongoing growth and expansion we are open to speaking with experienced Digital Engineering Managers (with BIM experience) for future opportunities. The role focuses on leading the delivery of Digital Engineering (DE) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions for complex Energy and Resources projects including Hydropower & Dams, Transmission & Distribution and Renewable, Waste & Generation projects, among others. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital strategies, overseeing project execution, ensuring ISO 19650 compliance, and driving innovation in digital project delivery. The Digital Engineering Manager will oversee multiple projects, mentoring teams, and engaging with senior stakeholders, focusing on managing project-specific digital deliverables and supporting implementation across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of Digital Engineering (DE) and BIM solutions for complex Energy and Resources projects (e.g., Hydropower & Dams, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable, Waste & Generation).
* Develop and implement digital strategies; oversee project execution; ensure ISO 19650 compliance.
* Drive innovation in digital project delivery and manage project-specific digital deliverables.
* Oversee multiple projects, mentor teams, and engage with senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Ideally hold a degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline; professional certifications (or working towards) such as BIM Certifications, buildingSMART, PMP or equivalent are preferred.
* Experience developing and managing key documentation (EIR, AIR, PIR, BEP).
* Advanced proficiency in Autodesk tools (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Inventor, ACC) and coordination platforms (Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI).
* Experience leading CDE setup, model federation, and clash detection workflows.
