The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised individual to help drive the engine of our sales activity: identifying opportunities, keeping momentum high, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
This is a hands‑on role focused on supporting lead generation, outreach and follow‑up, helping us stay consistent and build a strong pipeline.
You’ll play a key role in keeping activity moving and ensuring opportunities are captured and progressed.
What you’ll focus on (core priorities)
Your main goal is to create consistency and momentum across our sales activity.
That includes:
* Researching target companies and contacts
* Building and maintaining prospect lists
* Supporting outreach via LinkedIn, email and HubSpot
* Keeping CRM (HubSpot) up to date and organised
* Tracking follow‑ups and making sure nothing slips
* Supporting scheduling and basic sales admin
This is where the biggest impact of the role sits.
Additional support (secondary)
Alongside this, you’ll support light marketing activity:
* Drafting and scheduling simple LinkedIn posts
* Repurposing content using templates and AI tools
* Basic formatting of documents (Word / PowerPoint / Canva)
This is supportive, not the core focus.
What this role is
This is a junior commercial support role, ideal for someone who:
* Enjoys being organised and reliable
* Likes keeping things moving
* Is comfortable with structured tasks and processes
* Wants exposure to sales and marketing in a growing business
What we’re looking for
We’re more interested in mindset than experience.
You’ll likely be a good fit if you:
* Are organised and proactive
* Communicate clearly in writing
* Are comfortable using tools like HubSpot or willing to learn
* Enjoy research, admin and structured tasks
* Take pride in keeping things accurate and up to date
* Take ownership of your work and enjoy being relied upon to keep things moving
* Lead generation or sales support
* CRM systems (especially HubSpot)
Why this role works
This is a great opportunity to:
* Gain hands‑on experience in real‑world sales and marketing activity
* Work directly with a founder who has delivered multi‑million‑pound programmes and bids
* Develop highly transferable commercial skills (lead generation, CRM, outreach, pipeline management)
* See a clear link between your work and real business outcomes.
* Build a strong foundation for future roles in sales, marketing, or business development
For the right person, there is scope to grow this role over time as the business continues
